LIFE IS ART
For over 50 years the Lake Granbury Art Association has enriched the lives of its members and the community. What began as a small group of artists whose desire was to gather, encourage and grow as artists has grown to be all that and more. The LGAA has been instrumental in Granbury becoming an art tourist destination, as the original still-operating art group of Hood County. Finding their home in the 1886 historic Shanely House, the space allows LGAA to have both studio space and a gallery. Boasting several hundred members, the LGAA has become a cultural force in central north-central Texas and beyond.
